“Unfold By Light” is an intense pathway unravelling in two totally dark halls of the Museum of Natural History in Bergamo. In the penumbra, the traditional zoological analysis turns into a fairy-tale suggestion. Thirteen of the museum's animals were lightened by small LED lights, capable of isolating them from their context and of creating illusions of shapes and shadows that only lighting engineering can create. Every gleaming animal tells an unexpected tale, abstract from literary canons or collective imaginary.

Tales are thought to get the audience involved and to marvel them whatever background and age they have. Although the installations were perceived by visitors as completely autonomous and independent, the opening was planned as an happening which, through tales and stories, will conduct the audience in the dark halls of the museum. Readings and actors and music performances guided the viewers through the pathway, interweaving pure entertainment with deeply immersed concentration.
