Is an introduction to the problematics surrounding censorship and the action of moral judgement, focusing here on the role of cinematography as a medium via which the cultural industry interacts with the social and the political.
Il cineforum è organizzato su tre settimane, con diverse proiezioni che avranno luogo ogni martedì e giovedì. La selezione include sia film che sono stati censurati in un qualche momento della loro storia, sia film che si sono rivelati controversi, violenti o offensivi in determinati periodi.
The cine-forum is organized in three weeks, with different screenings taking place each tuesday and thursday. The selection includes films that were censored at some point in their history as well as films that have been proven as controversial, violent or offensive in specific periods.
Più che avanzare la pretesa di essere un'antologia completa, il programma desidera suggerire una serie di domande circa la percezione del sovversivo, i mutamenti di moralità, la flessibilità della società, e i suoi tabù convenuti che si riflettono nel materiale da essa censurato o condannato.
More than advancing the pretense of being a complete anthology, the programme wishes to suggest a set of questions around the perception of the subversive, the shifts of morality, the flexibility of society, and its given tabus that are reflected in the material it censors or condemns.

cultural process, which can reveal plenty about the trends of the society that is judging a film.
